He was one of the strongest, most honorable and admirable people I’ve ever met. And he had quite a story to tell. Bill Coleman arrived at D-Day under a parachute. Before he hit the ground he was shot, lost and alone. And that was just the beginning. He’s the stuff that heroes are made of! He passed away less than a year ago, but his legacy is the definition of the Greatest Generation.
This guy took at “temporary” job broadcasting Ft. Wayne Komets hockey games in 1953. HE’S STILL DOING IT!!! Bob Chase is a legend! At 86 years old he’s still traveling, still spry and quite humbled by his own incredible career! Loved meeting Bob and hearing his stories, especially the one about Elvis!!!
I LOVE this girl!!! Julie Myers is living her dream as a Stevie Nicks Tribute Artist, AND SHE’S GREAT!!! She’s about to embark on a huge tour and the show is awesome!!! And I’m proud to tell you my wife is her backup singer!!! Here’s Julie’s story:
This was just about the best way to spend a day EVER! First of all, Joe Pires… what a great guy! Just a regular “Joe” until he decided, in his 50s to actually follow his passion. It’s a weird one, but who cares? His wife loves it and it is VERY cool. Watch this and let me know if you’d go up in one of theses!!! Gyro Plane??? Are you kidding me???
How often do you get to interview one of your all time faces? Well, actually, it happens a LOT here at GB! But it was a THRILL to sit down and have an in depth chat with Rickie Lee Jones. Know what was really unexpected? She’s just like one of her songs! At first, you’re not sure where it’s going, then you hop on board this journey of highs and lows, of complex thoughts and simple needs, of logical thought and emotional reaction. She really was wonderful! Anyway, here’s the story we put together from the conversation!
